Kopi Luwak

It pains me to have to be so deliberate in detailing what I will and will not consume - but recent news stories have illustrated that some people need a reality check.

"I vow that I will not consume anything which has been previously digested"

Anyone who is a fan of CSI or a more extreme health fanatic has heard the theory that consuming one's own urine is good for you. I am not that health conscious. In fact, if that's what it takes to be health, I vow to be unhealthy and start eating nothing but Ho-Hos and Big Macs.

And consider Kopi Luwak, also known as catshit coffee: It's an Indonesian bean that's eaten by a civet cat, then "harvested" from the animal's dung. (The bean's bitter flavor is apparently greatly improved by passing through a cat's digestive tract.)
