Private Content

I use Drupal for this web site rather than a simple content publishing system for several reasons - but the primary one is that I can limit access. I like being able to restrict access to a set of content based on the authorities of the accessing account. So for example, I have published a few things here that are intended for a specific individual. I have also retained a few copyrighted pieces of writing for my own benefit. Re-publishing them to the world would be inappropriate.

If you are a friend or relative and would like to be able to access the content I have published for those audiences, you'll have to register for an account. Please register with your full name (first name, space, last name) so I know who you are. All of these clever user names makes it difficult for me to know who is who and you would be surprised at the number of hackers intent on setting up fake accounts on web sites these days. After you register, I'll get you set up with the correct permissions and send you a note back. Remind me if you don't hear back from me after a few days.
